US/Silver Spring: FDA Logo B&WNational Choice Bakery recalls various branded Bagels due to undeclared peanuts and tree nuts, both known allergens and possible trigger of Anaphylaxis, a serious and potential fatal, situation requiring immediate medical intervention. FDA:

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Bagels are subject to this recall:

  • L’Oven Fresh, Village Hearth, Lender’s and Kroger Bagels, with the full list available at the Web site noted above

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Bagels and could be allergic to their peanut and/or almonds ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
