According to Health Canada, testing by Transport Canada’s compliance program has revealed these products do not meet current head and chest injury limits. These regulatory limits help ensure the safety of the child in the restraint system.

Additionally, it was found during a simulated crash test, the adjustable recline foot might not remain in its proper position which might introduce slack in the vehicle seat belt or Universal Anchorage System (“UAS”) belt. In the event of a secondary collision, theoretically the loose seat could increase the risk of injury to the infant in the car seat or other people in the vehicle.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession a recalled Infant Car Seat, please stop using it and use another Infant Car Seat to restrain your child in the vehicle.

Please take one photo of your Car Seat(s) and a second photo of the model information sticker/label that includes the date before discarding the unit so you can submit for proof of ownership. There are additional instructions on the Learning Curve Web site here: http://recall.learningcurve.com/

If you are satisfied you have in your possession a recalled Car Seat, dispose of the item as per municipal guidelines, and in such a way that the product can no longer be used and file your claim as per the instruction on the Learning Curve Web site above.
