The UK Trading Standards Institute (“TSI”) reports the following Ground Cumin are subject to this recall:

  • Bart Ground Cumin, pack size: 35 gram package; batch code: 4291; best before: Oct 17
  • Bart Ground Cumin, pack size: 35 gram package; batch code: 4347; best before: Dec 17
  • Bart Ground Cumin, pack size: 35 gram package; batch code: 4348; best before: Dec 17

According to the TSI, the Bart Ingredients Company Ltd is recalling certain batch codes of its Ground Cumin because the potential presence of almond is not mentioned on the label.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Ground Cumin and could be allergic to their almond ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
