US/Silver Spring: Stone Mountain Pecan Pecanettes Recall [US]Stone Mountain Pecan Co. recalls approximately 540 packages of Pecanettes due to possible Salmonella contamination, a serious health hazard. FDA:

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Pecanettes are subject to this recall:

  • Stone Mountain Pecan Company Pecanettes, sold in 8-ounce clear plastic packages, with a lot code of 4032A and a sell-by date of 12/30/15

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FDA, the Pecanettes were known to be distributed only in the State of Georgia, directly to consumers at the retail level from the Stone Mountain Pecan Company, located in Monroe.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Pecanettes, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
