According to Health Canada, Hoodies with drawstrings around the neck area pose a strangulation hazard to children. Drawstrings can become entangled or caught on playground slides, hand rails, school bus doors or other moving objects, posing a significant strangulation and/or entanglement hazard to children.

Neither BRP nor Health Canada has not received any reports of consumer incidents or injuries related to the use of these products.

Parents and/or other caregivers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the child’s garment to eliminate the hazard or contact BRP for a full refund.
