The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Pet Food is subject to this recall:

  • J. J. Fuds Premium Natural Blends, Chicken Tender Chunks, all 5 pound bags; manufacture/lot code date: 5/5/14; UPC: 654592-345935

Please consult the photograph above for details of the pet food’s packaging, design and retail presentation. Additional brands and/or designs the recalled Pet Food are pictured on the Web site above.

According to the FDA, the recalled Pet Food was distributed regionally in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois to wholesale and retail customers. The product can be identified by its batch ID code (manufactured date) and UPC printed on the back of the individual plastic bag or on the master case label. This product is a frozen raw poultry product (see Safe Handling Instructions on package) and has a shelf life of one year if kept frozen.
