The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Christmas Lights are subject to this recall:

  • The LED Christmas Lightswere sold byKogan andwere offered in a 20 meter lengths in blue, gold, white and red colour options. Affected products will have one of these batch numbers on the packaging:

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the lighting outfits do not comply with Australian Standards and do not have an outdoor insulation protection rating. There is a risk of electrical shock when being used outdoors.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled LED Christmas Lights, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
