The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following products are subject to this recall:

  • Dive sticks; part number: 792879; bar code: 4894063039895

According to the ACCC, the plastic end caps may not be securely fixed to the dive stick, allowing exposure of the metal weight. The plastic cap ends may come free and reveal the small metal weight inside. This may pose a choking hazard.

The recalled Dive Sticks were sold by Woolworths and Safeway stores nationally throughout Australia from 21 December 2014 to 5 January 2015

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Dive Sticks, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
