The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Sponge Cakes are subject to this recall:

  • IGA Baker’s Oven Choc Lamingtons 4-Pack with Julian codes of 43281 and 43282

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, this recall is due to Staphylococcus aureus contamination of the above mentioned food product.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Choc Lamingtons, please do not consume them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

If you or a family member suspect your are ill after consuming the recalled foods, please consult with your MD or local hospital.
