The UK Trading Standards Institute (“TSI”) reports the following Sultanas are subject to this recall:

  • Liban Vert Golden Sultanas Liban Vert, 200 gram package; best-before date – 16/05/2015; batch code – 160520149

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the TSI, Golden Nuts is withdrawing a batch of Liban Vert Golden Sultanas because they contain sulphur dioxide, which is not clearly mentioned on the packaging. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Sultanas and could be allergic to their ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them.
