The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Pies are subject to this recall:

  • Winn-Dixie Sour Cream Lemon Pies, 7-ounce single-serve Pies with a product code of 4300 and a UPC code of 2114000081

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the FDA,  the supplier of the recalled Pies says they have been mislabeled. The Pies marked, “Sour Cream Lemon” should in fact be marked “Coconut Cream”. Consuming a mislabeled Pie could result in a serious allergic reaction from the undeclared coconut allergen.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession these recalled Sour Cream Lemon Pies and could be allergic to their ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
