The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Sparkling Juices are subject to this recall:

  • Cascade Apple Isle Sparkling Juices, UPC: 9300679000204

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, there is a possible defect in the glass that may cause the bottle to shatter. A glass bottle that shatters or breaks could cause harm to consumer and may pose a laceration hazard.

If you believe you have purchased or have in your possession the recalled Cascade Apple Isle Sparkling Juices, please do not consume them. Instead, wearing safety glasses and gloves, carefully wrap each bottle  in newspaper or cardboard and place individually in household trash marked as “FRAGILE – GLASS”. You can then call the Coca-Cola Amatil Consumer Information Centre on 1-800-063-923 to arrange a refund.
