The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Button Fly Jeans are subject to this recall:

  • Harris Scarfe Men’s Black Button Fly Jeans, product code: X4UJC23

Please consult the photograph above for details of the clothing’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the dye used in the manufacture of these Jeans may have contained hazardous Azo-Colourants. Expert authorities classify these Azo-Colourants as carcinogens and recommend exposure to the dye should be minimised. While this dye stuff is not banned for textiles use in Australia, in the interests of customer safety Harris Scarfe Australia is recalling these Jeans.

If you believe you have purchased the recalled Jeans, please do not wear them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
