Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports this recall involves Loki Lemur and Neon Loki Lemur Plush Toys.

  • Loki the Lemur Plush Toys were produced in assorted colors including black, blue, turquoise, purple; Neon Loki the Lemur was produced in neon green, neon pink, violet and blue. The Lemur Plush Toys can also be identified by their tags which states, “Specialty Toys Direct”.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to Health Canada, the eyes and nose of the Lemur Plush Toys can become detached posing a choking hazard to young children. Specialty Toys Direct has not received any reports of incidents but Health Canada has received one report of the eye breaking off. No serious injury resulted.

If you believe you have purchased the recalled Lemur Plush Toys, please remove them immediately from your child’s area and access. Further, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
