The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Chili Seasoning Kits are subject to this recall:

  • Carroll Shelby Chili Mix, 4 ounce package; best-by date range: July 1, 2016 to Nov 21, 2016; UPC: 0-00-72396-10000-8
  • Carroll Shelby White Chicken Chili, 3 ounce package; best-by date range: July 1, 2016 to Dec 08, 2016; UPC: 0-00-72396-10019-0
  • Wick Fowler 2-Alarm Chili Kit, 3.625 ounce package; best-by date range: July 1, 2016 to Dec 08, 2016; UPC: 0-00-71092-00069-8
  • Wick Fowler False Alarm Chili Kit, 3.03 ounce package; best-by date range: Sept 02, 2016 to Dec 02, 2016; UPC: 0-00-71092-00111-4

According to the FDA, this recall was initiated after it was discovered that ingredients from a single supplier used in the affected products were contaminated with peanut and almond allergens.
