The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves Leith brand Women’s Textured Open Vest Sleeveless Sweaters.

The Sweaters are 35-1/2 inches long. They were sold in black and cream, and in sizes extra small – XS, small – S, medium – M, large – L and extra large – XL. Care labels sewn into the garments read, “Leith”, “Made in China”, “83% cotton” and “17% nylon”

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the CPSC, the Sweaters fail to meet the Federal Flammability Standard for wearing apparel, posing a burn injury hazard to consumers.

If you believe you have purchased a recalled Leith Open Vest Sweater, please do not use it. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
