The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Bath Appliqués are subject to this recall:

  • Bath Appliqués in three variants: an Octopus, a Starfish and a Crab. The items have suction cups and are used in place of bath mats; product codes: S-BA523, S-BA524 and S-BA52

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the recalled Bath Appliqués do not comply with the permanent ban on children’s products containing more than 1% Diethylhexyl Phthalate (DEHP). There is a risk that extensive and prolonged sucking and chewing on the product could cause an increased risk of reproductive toxicity.

If you believe you have purchased the recalled Bath Appliqués, please do not use them. Instead, kindly return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
