Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Power Cords are subject to this recall:

  • Power Cords shipped with Toshiba All in One, Android, AT, Chromebook, DX, Libretto, Mini Notebook, Netbook, Portege, Qosmio, Satellite, Tecra, Toshiba and WT Computers. The power cords are black in colour and are marked with “LS-15” on the portion of the cord that plugs into the power brick.

According to Health Canada, approximately 501,597 Toshiba notebook computers were sold in Canada with an affected AC Power Cord. These products were sold at various electronics retailers across Canada.

If you believe you have purchased a computer with the recalled Power Cord, please do not use it. Instead, kindly contact Toshiba toll-free at 1-800-663-0378 or at Toshiba’s website under “Support” for a replacement Cord.
