Additional information:
Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Jackets are subject to this recall:

  • Legea Boys Padded Jackets, with drawstrings at the hood, style number BB-7513, with a retractable hood that can be tucked away in collar. The drawstring is found around the hood. The Boys Padded Jackets are navy blue, with either blue or yellow piping.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to Health Canada, its evaluation program has determined that drawstrings on children’s upper outerwear can become caught on playground equipment, fences or other objects and result in strangulation, or in the case of a vehicle, the child being dragged.

Neither Stocklots Distribution nor Health Canada has received reports of consumer incidents or injuries to Canadians related to the use of these products.

Parents and/or other caregivers should immediately remove the drawstrings from the Padded Jackets to eliminate the hazard or contact Stocklots Distribution for a full refund.
