The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Tapioca Chips are subject to this recall:

  • Manjilas Tapioca Chips Spicy, sold in a clear plastic packet weighing 180 grams and with an expiry date of 14/07/2014

According to the ACCC, food products containing hydrocyanic acid may cause illness if consumed.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

If you believe you have purchased these recalled Tapioca Chips, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
