The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Food Bar Snacks are subject to this recall:

  • Macro Raw Food Bars, Chocolate Flavoured and Chocolate and Mint Flavoured, 50 gram bar

According to the ACCC, the Food Bar Snacks are being recalled as they may contain peanuts. The products may pose a health risk to consumers who are allergic to peanuts. Consumers who are not allergic to peanuts may safely consume these products.

If you believe you have purchased these recalled Food Bar Snacks and could be allergic to their ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, please do not consume them. Instead, return the product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.

Consumers who are allergic to peanuts should not eat these products and should return them to their nearest Woolworths, Safeway or Thomas Dux store for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
