The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Children’s Sleepwear Products are subject to this recall:

  • Blue Bear Body Shirt; style number: 123129
  • Light Blue Word Romper; style number: 123533
  • Cord Dungarees and Body Suit Set; style number: 123125
  • Neutral Bear Hooded Romper; style number: 123126
  • Grey Jersey Dungarees; style number: 123298
  • White Short Sleeve Bodysuits 5-pack; style number: 88615
  • White Long Sleeeve Bodysuits 5-pack; style number: 88616
  • White Sleeveless Bodysuits Vest 5-pack; style number: 88617

According to the ACCC, the recalled Children’s Sleepwear are not labelled with the required fire safety warnings. The Sleepwear, therefore, do not comply with the mandatory standard for children’s sleepwear and limited daywear, AS/NZS 1249:2003, as amended by the regulation.

Incorrect labels could result in parents and other caregivers being unaware of the correct fire danger rating of these garments. The Sleepware may pose a fire hazard if they come into contact with an exposed flame.
