  • Quorn 4 Classic Burgers, 240 gram package; best before date of 31 DEC 2014

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the ACCC, the Quorn 4 Classic Burgers are being recalled because they may contain small fragments of blue-coloured food grade plastic. If these plastic fragments are ingested, they could cut the mouth, stomach or other parts of the GI tract, cause perforation or serious infection.

The recalled Burgers have been available for sale in Coles and Woolworths supermarkets nationally.

Please note: similar food products have been recalled due to the same reason, specifically the possible inclusion of blue-coloured food grade plastic fragments in the ground beef. To see these products, please search for “blue-coloured food grade plastic” in the Search Box at the top of this screen.
