Additional information:
The UK Trading Standards Institute (“TSI”) reports the following Baby Food is subject to this recall:

  • Cow & Gate Sweet Squash and Chicken Baby Food from 7 Months+, sold in 200 gram jars; expiry dates: 01.07.16; 22.07.16; 21.08.16; and 10.09.16

Please consult the photograph above for details of the food’s packaging, design and retail presentation.

According to the TSI, due to a labelling error the company has withdrawn from sale four (4) production batches of Cow & Gate Sweet Squash and Chicken from 7 months+ 200 gram jars with the expiry dates shown above.

This Baby Food is suitable for the majority of babies but the presence of egg and wheat make it unsuitable for babies who are allergic/intolerant to these ingredients.

The jar incorrectly claims ‘no added egg’ and ‘gluten free’ in a tick box although both egg and wheat are correctly shown in the ingredient list.

==> For information about Egg Allergy or Wheat Allergy or Gluten Intolerance, please consult the “Allergens & Intolerances” tab on this site, located at the top of this page.

If you believe you have purchased the recalled Baby Food and could be allergic to its ingredients, have a close family member who is allergic or has previously experienced Anaphylaxis or are unsure of your allergy status, you should return this product to the store where you purchased it for a full refund.
