US/Washington: Jerky By Art Beef Jerky Recall [US]Jerky By Art recalls an undetermined quantity of Beef Jerky products due to undeclared wheat and fish (anchovies), both known allergens and/or sources of dietary intolerance. In addition, the recalled Beef Jerky was produced without the benefit of federal inspection, a serious health hazard. USDA:

The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Beef Jerky is subject to this recall:

  • Claude’s Beef Jerky with Red Chile, sold mostly in 4-ounce bags with no other identifying product codes, lot numbers or UPCs. They may also have been packed in bags of other sizes. Consequently, all products produced prior to September 12, 2014 are being recalled.

According to the USDA, the products, which contain the establishment number “EST. 34270” inside the USDA Mark of Inspection, were sold primarily over the internet.
