The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Raw Apricot Kernels are subject to this recall:

  • Aprisnax Australian Raw Apricot Kernels; best before date code: Nov 2015; batch number: B20414AAK

According to the ACCC, the recall was ordered due to high levels of hydrocyanic acid. Food products containing high levels of hydrocyanic acid may cause illness if consumed.

Consumers should not eat this product but instead, should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek qualified medical advice.
