Publix Jalapeno Bagel Recall [US]

US FlagUS/Silver Spring: Publix recalls some Publix Jalapeno Bagels due to the possible presence of glass and stone contamination, a serious health hazard. FDA:

The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Bagels are subject to this recall:

  • Publix Jalapeno Bagels, sold in Publix stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, either from the self-service bins or artisan cases in the bakery department.

According to the FDA, Bagels distributed in other regions including Tennessee and North Carolina are not subject to this recall.

If you have purchased Bagels from Publix stores and think they might have been recalled, do not consume them. Instead, return them to your local Publix store for a full refund.
