The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Baby Cots are subject to this recall:

  • Virginia 3-in-1 Wooden Sleigh Baby Cots, sold in white finish colour with a model number of GH-208

According to the ACCC, the recalled Cots do not comply with the mandatory Australian standard, AS/NZS 2172:2003 Cots for household use—safety and performance requirements. The Baby Cots fail to comply with the various design, safety and performance and marking requirements of the mandatory standard. The Cots pose numerous risks, including suffocation and entrapment hazards, to infants using this product.

Parents and other caregivers should immediately remove their children from the recalled Baby Cot and find a safe, approved sleeping alternative. Owners should contact the manufacturer, Gl4ever Pty Ltd, to arrange for their cots to be collected and destroyed (at Gl4ever Pty Ltd’s expense) and a full-refund for the cost of the Baby Cot at
