Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports the following Plastic Patio Chairs are subject to this recall:

  • Child’s Plastic Patio Chairs, sold in a variety of colours under the model number of “3006952”. The model number appears on the product label on the back of the chair.

Please consult the photograph above for details of the product’s design and presentation.

According to Health Canada, the Chairs’ legs may collapse under the weight of the child, causing a fall and injuries. Tests performed by Dollarama indicate that these products do not comply with the requirements of the ASTM F 1838-98 Standard Performance Requirements for Child’s Plastic Chairs for Outdoor Use.

Parents and other caregivers should immediately remove the recalled Chair from the child’s area and/or access and return it to the store to obtain a refund.
