• Volkswagen of America: 2009 Routan Vehicles – unintended and sudden ignition key movement from ON to OFF or ACCESSORY position, sudden engine turn-off, loss of vital safety systems including but not limited to air bags, power steering and power braking, crash hazards; potential number of units affected: 18,526. Note: until repair, Volkswagen recommends removal of all items from the vehicle’s key ring, leaving only the ignition key.
