Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Baby Cots are subject to this recall:

  • Infant cots that convert from a Baby Cot to Toddler Bed, model numbers as follows:
    • BABY-COT-BC26-WH
    • BABY-COT- BC26-NAT

According to the ACCC, the Baby Cots do not comply with the mandatory Australian standard AS/NZS 2172:2003. Further testing has found there may be multiple failures with labelling and drop sides. The Baby Cots fail to comply with safety and performance, design and marking requirements of the mandatory standard. The Baby Cots pose numerous risks, in particular the risks of suffocation and entrapment, to vulnerable infants.
