Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports the recalled Adaptor/Chargers are used to charge cell phones and other electronic products and have the model number “ADCP3-1000” imprinted on the plug side of the colored device. See photograph above for colors and design characteristics.

The Adaptor/Chargers are plastic cubes approximately 1″ to 1-1/4″ on one side with two prongs for plugging into an electrical outlet and a USB port on the other. Recalled chargers come in five different colors: black, blue, green, red and white.

According to the CPSC, the Adaptor/Chargers can overheat, posing a burn hazard. The firm has received one report of a consumer who was burned on his hand using the Adaptor/Chargers. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled recalled devices and throw them away.

The recalled Adaptor/Chargers were distributed free as a promotional giveaway at trade shows nationwide from October 2013 to April 2014.
