Additional information:
The UK Trading Standards Institute (“TSI”) reports the following Baby Monitors are subject to this safety notice:

  • Tommee Tipppee Sensor Pad Monitors, as pictured above

According to the TSI, if set up correctly using the instructions provided, the Tommee Tipppee Sensor Pad Monitor is not dangerous and is safe to use. It meets all the current safety standards and use of the monitor cord has never resulted in any reported incidents.

If set up incorrectly, however, there is a risk that a child could pull the Sensor Pad cord into crib. Because of this, the company is supplying a cord cover kit free of charge to any customer who has bought one of these monitors.

To ensure infant safety, parents, guardians and other caregivers should ensure all monitor cords are out of reach of the child.
