Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Herring are subject to this recall:

  • Connie’s Kitchen Gourmet Tuyo Dried Herrings, sold in 235 gram jars marked with a product code of “EXP 04 14 15”

According to the ACCC, the recalled Herring is possibly contaminated with Biotoxin (Histamine).

A foodstuff that contains Histamine may cause serious illness if consumed due to Anaphylaxis (Anaphylactic Shock). For more information about Anaphylaxis, please consult the “Allergens & Intolerances” tab at the top of this page.
