Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Children’s Float Vests are subject to this recall:

  • Speedo Sea Squad Float Vest, 2 style versions – pink/purple & blue/orange; 3 size versions – ages 1 to 2, 2 to 4 and 4 to 6; all recalled products can be identified by octopus and shark characters printed on the Vest with product codes: 8-091949214 and 8-091949490

According to the ACCC, the Floats within the Vests may potentially separate, moving from the front to the back. Movement of the Floats within the Vest affects buoyancy of the product, compromising balance in the water and presenting a potential drowning hazard.
