The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Boys Jackets are subject to this recall:

  • Mossimo Boys Tyler jackets, style number: 3M45BV and 3M45ZG
  • Mossimo Kids Joker jackets, style number: 3M45AV and 3M45ZB

According to the ACCC, the dyes and colourants used during the manufacturing of these jackets may contain hazardous azo dyes and colourants. Expert authorities classify these azo dyes and colourants as carcinogens and recommend minimal exposure. These dyes and colourants are not specifically banned for textiles use in Australia.
