The United States Department of Agriculture (“USDA”) reports the following Chicken Breast Products are subject to this recall:

  • 2- and 5-pound bags in a 10-pound box of “Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Breaded Chicken Breast Tenders” with the product code 77422 printed on the box.
  • 2- and 5-pound bags in a 10-pound box of “Sugar Lake Farms Fully Cooked Spicy Breaded Chicken Breast Chunks” with the product code 77448 printed on the box.

According to the USDA, the products were produced from Dec. 12, 2012 to March 21, 2014. The products bear the establishment number “P-9165” inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were distributed to hotels, restaurants and institutions nationwide.

The problem was discovered by an FSIS inspector who notified the company on April 17, 2014. After investigation by the firm, it was determined that the company didn’t list all ingredients on their food packaging labels.
