The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Mouthwash is subject to this recall:

  • Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Mouthwash, 250 mL; all batches

According to the ACCC, the recalled Mouthwash may contain enterbacter gergoviae and pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria out of specification microbial levels. While the risk of infection in healthy individuals following use of this product is low, in consumers with weakened or suppressed immune systems there is an increased risk of infection.
