The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Spices are subject to this recall:

  • Sprouts Farmers Market Organic Black Peppercorns, 2.12 ounce jar; lot number: 3287; UPC: 8-74875-00425-4

In addition, the company has also recalled the following related Spices from grocery and bulk stores:

  • Frontier Organic Whole Black Peppercorns, 16-ounce jar; lot number: 3256; UPC: 0-89836-02603-3
  • Sprouts Farmers Market Organic Black Peppercorns, 2.12-ounce jar; lot number: 3246; UPC: 8-74875-00425-4
  • Simply Organic Whole Black Peppercorns, 2.65-ounce jar; lot numbers: 3221, 3262; UPC: 0-89836-18524-2

According to the FDA, the recalled Organic Black Peppercorns were distributed to Sprouts Farmers Market stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah.
