The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Black Peppercorns are subject to this recall:
- Organic Black Peppercorns sold under the Frontier, Simply Organic and Whole Foods Market 365 Everyday Value brands
According to the FDA, the Black Peppercorns in question were steam pasteurized at the source and tested negative for Salmonella by Frontier Natural Products Co-op. There remains, however, a small risk that Salmonella may still be present based on a positive, random test that was recently conducted.
