The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Face Paints are subject to this recall:

  • Lindsay’s Leichhardt Face Paint, water based face paints with the following sizes and barcodes:
    • Five by 40 ml tubes; UPC: 9 311813000769;
    • 175 ml bottles; UPC: 9 311813000486;
    • 90 ml jar; UPC: 9 311813000417

According to the ACCC, ammonia levels in the recalled Face Paint may exceed permissible safe limits and may cause some irritation to skin and eyes. High concentrations of ammonia can cause irritation to skin, eyes and respiratory system.
