The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Bed Linens are subject to this recall:

  • Pillow Talk 50/50 Poly/Cotton 225 Thread Count Plain Dye Range – red colour: Sheet Set / Fitted Sheet / Flat Sheet / Pillowcases (Body, European, Standard, Ruffle Tri Jumbo, Tri Jumbo, Ruffle Tri Regular, Tri Regular) in the following styles and UPCs:

Please note: all recalled Bed Linens are red in color.

According to the ACCC, the dye used in the red fabric may contain chemical p-aminoazobenzene at levels above the acceptable limit. Expert authorities classify p-aminoazobenzene as a Group 2 Carcinogen and recommend that exposure to this chemical from articles in prolonged contact with the skin be minimised.
