The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Beetle Beach Sets are subject to this recall:

  • Red Dot Stores 6-piece Beetle Beach Set, barcode: 9320760121199

According to the ACCC, the recalled Toys may not comply with the mandatory standard for toys for children up to and including 36 months of age, AS/NZS 8124.1:2002 (as amended by the regulation) because they may produce small parts when dropped. If small-parts are liberated during use, this poses a potential choking hazard to young children.
