Additional information:
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) reports this recall involves some Reebok EP20K Senior (SR) Hockey Elbow Pads with all-foam elbow caps. The Pads are white with grey and black colored fabric. The word “Reebok” appears on the upper and lower arm sections of each elbow Pad and the words “20K PRO” appear on the forearm of each Pad. There are three Velcro brand closure bands on each Elbow Pad. The product code “K101SR EP20K” is printed on the inside label of each Elbow Pad and on the outside of the poly bag in which some products were packaged. The Elbow Pad comes in S, M, L and XL sizes.

According to the CPSC, the molded foam padding inside the recalled Elbow Pads can become cracked, fractured or split, which poses a risk of injury to the elbow. The company reports one incident in Canada that resulted in a broken elbow.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Elbow Pads and return the product to place of purchase for a full refund or replacement or return the product directly to Reebok-CCM Hockey Inc. for a replacement.

Please note: this is a joint recall from the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (“CPSC”) and Health Canada (“HCSC”).
