Health Canada/Santé Canada (“HCSC”) reports this recall involves portable Go With Gio Halogen Heaters that bear a counterfeit Intertek (ETL) certification mark. The label identifies the Heater by “model HG-160C” and serial number “0392”.

According to Health Canada, these Go With Gio Halogen Heaters bear a counterfeit cETLus certification mark and have not been evaluated by Intertek. It is unknown if this product is in compliance with the applicable safety standard. Health Canada has not received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of these halogen heaters.

Consumers should stop using the affected Halogen Heaters immediately.
