The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Children’s Toys are subject to this recall:
Honeybee Toys Selecta Battino Hammering Toy, consisting of a child’s Wooden Toy with three balls that are hammered through three holes with an included mallet; 1510 EAN 4003332015106.According to the ACCC, the three rubber rings in the holes of the Hammering Toy are loose. This presents a choking hazard for infants and thereby breaches the Mandatory Standard for Toys for Children up to and including 36 months of age, AS/NZS 8124.1:2002 (as amended by the regulation). If small parts are liberated during play/use, it poses a choking hazard to young children.
Parents and/or other caregivers should remove the recalled Hammering Toy from the child immediately and return it to Honeybee Toys for a full refund.
