The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Bicycles are subject to this recall:

  • Madone 5.2 (standard and WSD)
  • Madone 5.9 (standard)
  • Madone 6.2 (standard and WSD)
  • Madone 6.5 (standard)
  • Madone 7.7 (standard)
  • Madone 7.9 (standard and WSD)

According to the ACCC, the front brake attachment bolt may detach, causing the brake itself to fail. In the worst case scenario, this  may lead to loss of control, crash and rider injury.
