The US Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”) reports the following Sauces are subject to this recall:

  • Prego Traditional Italian Sauce,  sold in 24-ounce jars and manufactured on December 15, 2013. The recalled product can be identified by its Best-By date of June 16, 2015 and a four-digit, military time code ranging from “CT BJ ZV 0330” through “CT BJ ZV 0449” printed on the jar lid.

According to the FDA, the product subject to the recall was made at the Campbell Soup establishment in Paris, Texas and was shipped on December 21, 2013 to retailer distribution centers that serve the following seven states: Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Oklahoma.
