LED Recessed Emergency Lights

Additional information:
The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Emergency Lights are subject to this recall:

  • MPower LED Recessed Non-Maintained Emergency Downlights
    • NIK-PANCAKE-EXE
    • BEL-LG1
    • BEL-LG2

According to the ACCC, there is a manufacturing fault in which a small number of Emergency Lights have untrimmed input power terminals located at the underside of the control box. The untrimmed terminals could potentially extend to, or close to, the surface of the underside of the control box, where a small ventilation cavity exists. Contact with these exposed input terminals, whilst the Emergency Lights are connected are energized with power, could cause electric shock.
