  • PC Metal Garden Torch; UPC: number 058703047990
  • Tera Gear Metal Garden Torch; UPC number: 058703047990

According to Health Canada, the recalled Metal Garden Torches do not meet the labeling requirements for consumer chemical products under Canadian Law. The lack of required information, including appropriate warnings, may lead to serious injury or property damage.

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (“ACCC”) reports the following Lavender Cosmetics are subject to this recall:

  • 15 ml handmade Lavender Eye Cream
  • 100 gram handmade Lavender Moisturiser

According to the ACCC, the recalled Lavender Cosmetics have been found to contain an unacceptably high level of microbial activity. Depending on the organism(s) present or subsequently introduced into inadequately preserved cosmetic products, consumer safety may be placed at risk through serious infection.

About Cosmetic Safety:
Bacterial and/or viral infection can lead to serious and even life-changing injuries, especially if contaminated substances are used in or around the eyes, near mucus membranes or anywhere where an injury or cut has compromised the protective skin barrier or in the case of immunocompromised individuals, on thin skin surfaces.
